Troubleshooting common issues

Quick fixes for quota limits, agents that miss the mark, stuck approvals, and billing hiccups.


Most snags have a quick fix. Here are the ones we hear about most, and what to do.

"I've run out of orchestrations"

Each plan includes a monthly number of orchestrations. When you hit it, new work pauses until your quota resets at the start of your next billing cycle. To keep going now, open Upgrade for a larger allowance. Remember: greetings and small talk are free and don't count. Only real specialist work does.

"The team didn't do what I wanted"

Usually the brief was broader than it felt. Try one goal per message, lead with the outcome ("get me 5 cheerful captions"), and add the specifics that matter (length, tone, channel). If the result is close, just reply with a tweak like "make the second one shorter" instead of starting over. See Writing great briefs.

"An agent is locked"

Some agents are Pro or Studio only. If an agent looks greyed out, it's a plan thing, not a bug. The 6 Standard agents work on every plan, the full team unlocks on Pro, and the four Studio experts on Studio. Meet your team shows which is which.

"The approval card won't go away"

That's by design. An outbound tool action blocks until you respond. Approve it to let the send happen, or decline it to cancel. Nothing leaves DeskPixel until you choose.

"I paid but I'm still on the old plan"

Plan changes apply right after checkout. If it hasn't updated, refresh the page; payment confirmations can take a moment. Still stuck? Open the billing portal from Settings to confirm the change went through, then contact support if needed.

"A connected tool isn't sending"

Recheck the credential under Settings → Connected tools. A token can expire or get pasted with a stray space. For webhooks, make sure the destination is a public HTTPS URL. The tool history shows whether a send was attempted.
